Hi,

I am Margaret Emonds. Welcome to my art website.

On this site you'll be able to view a selection of my Landscape and Cityscape Paintings which will be updated regularly.

Although I've had formal training in drawing and painting, I consider myself largely as self taught. My works are the results of many years of experimenting with colour and painterly surface, and I particularly enjoy the vibrancy of colour.

The Scottish landscape has inspired many of my paintings, and The City has provided a further source of enquiry for my work.

I am a member artist of Primera, and have exhibited my work in various galleries, including Paisley Art Institute, Maclaurin Galleries Ayrshire, Racquet Hall North Ayrshire, Kelvingrove Gallery (Macmillan Exhibition), Princes Square and Painshill Park exhibition Surrey.

My work is in many private collection both at home and abroad, including Italy, Paris and South Australia. Closer to home, you'll regularly find some of my paintings at the Framing Art Gallery in Troon, Aryshire.
